Terminus Ensemble

  • Florence Kopleff Recital Hall 10 Peachtree Center Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30303 United States (map)

Terminus Ensemble was founded in 2011 to promote new music by composers based in Atlanta, Georgia and the southeastern United States.  “Terminus,” the original name of Atlanta as the end of the Western & Atlantic Railroad,  not only means “the end,” but also “a boundary.”  As such, the Terminus Ensemble seeks to explore the boundaries and intersections of contemporary art music.

Terminus Ensemble presents a concert on April 2 featuring music by Atlanta-based composers as the opening event of Atlanta’s 2017 SoundNOW Contemporary Music Festival.  This program will include works by Curtis BRYANT, Lowell Gerard FUCHS, Olivia KIEFFER, and Brent MILAM.
